Organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Alumni Communications and Career Research Directorate in collaboration with faculty members and experts, "International Career Week" continues with interesting organisations. Having commenced on Monday, 11 May 2015, the week aims to contribute to the personal development of students by equipping them with skills to better express themselves and set future targets. The event also has the objective of providing the students with the information about career possibilities, opportunities, difficulties and employment strategies following their graduation.
A number of conferences organised by Communication, health Sciences, Tourism, Dr. Fazıl Küçük Medicine, Education and Law faculties took place on the first day of the International Career Week. During the conferences organised by EMU Communication and Media Studies Faculty, EMU graduate and award winning producer Fatih Tüylüoğlu and Channel D anchorman Serdar Cebe shared their work experiences as well as information on their careers, advertising, journalism and reporting with students .
On the same day, Health Sciences Faculty Seray Kabaran gave a conference entitled "Healthy Nutrition in Kids". Other conferences that took place were İstanbul Business School representative Selim Geçit's "Human Potential", Marmara University academic staff member Prof. Dr. Atila Karaalp's "The Realities of Herbal Products", Gürkaynak Citizenship Institute co-chair İpek Gürkaynak's "Educational Components" and Lawyer Feyza Altun Meriç's "The Profession of Advocacy".
On the final day of the week, the formal opening of the "3rd International Career Opportunities Forum and Cyprus Turkish Products Fair" will take place with the participation of 75 firms.
