EMU Clinics Open Their Doors to TRNC Citizen Dentists Registered to KTTB

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Dentistry commence to offer the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) citizen dentists who are registered to the Turkish Cypriot Medical Association (KTTB), the opportunity to use the clinics affiliated with the faculty. TRNC citizen dentists can benefit from the facilities by submitting applications to the EMU Faculty of Dentistry Dean’s Office.

 

Quality and Patient Satisfaction are Always a Priority

In his remark, the Dean of EMU Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Hikmet Solak stated that the Dental Clinic established in December 2021 and operating under the EMU Faculty of Dentistry has been providing services since its establishment, including the pandemic period. The clinic attaches great importance to health precautions at the highest levels. Underscoring that the said clinic has always set quality and patient satisfaction as a priority, Prof. Dr. Solak added that they efforts towards new collaborations are to continue. Expressing that the Faculty of Dentistry is on the path to become an institution which offers world-class services, Prof. Dr. Solak stated that by making EMU’s state-of-the-art clinical facilities available to colleagues who are members of the KTTB and legally authorized to work, the university also creates a high-standard working environment for specialist dentists. Prof. Dr. Solak expressed his gratitude for the public’s strong interest and stated that this new initiative has enabled them to reach and serve a larger number of people.

 

Most Suitable and Effective Treatment Methods Being Identified

Individuals seeking treatment at EMU Dental Clinics will receive a panoramic X-ray as part of the examination package, allowing for the identification of the most suitable and effective treatment methods. The cost of treatments will be determined based on the pricing set by the Turkish Cypriot Medical Association. This initiative is designed to offer the community more cost-effective dental care services.
