Eastern Mediterranean University 2014 – 2015 Academic Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony will be taking place at Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Center at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 17 February 2015. While the preparations for the ceremony are being finalised, Famagusta Municipality and EMU are working in collaboration in the organisation of various activities for graduates
Eastern Mediterranean University, in collaboration with Famagusta Municipality, will be organising a torchlight procession and a cocktail reception in honor of graduating students. Within the framework of the activities, at 4:30 p.m. on 16 February 2015, graduates will say farewell to the city through a torchlight procession starting from EMU Activity Center and ending at the entrance of Famagusta Walled City. Following the torchlight procession, a graduation cocktail will take place at Old Closed Bazaar (Bandabuliya) under the auspices of Famagusta Mayor İsmail Arter and EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam.
Posters and banners have been put up at various places in Famagusta. Additionally, on 16, 17 and 18 February, various shops on Salamis Road will be offering special prices under the title of "Graduation Sale".
About 1150 associate and undergraduate and 350 postgraduate and doctoral degree program students will be receiving their diplomas at the 2014-2015 Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony taking place at Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Center at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 17 February 2015. Eastern Mediterranean University will also be honoring the graduates who have completed their 25th year following their graduation with medals.
Within the framework of the 2014 – 2015 Academic Year Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony, a famous singer from Turkey will give a concert during the ceremony on 17 February 2015.
